Slingshot Rally 10 and 12m overlap

I have Rally's in 6, 8 and 10m (2011). My 12m is a Liquid force Havoc but I am selling it because the low end of the 10m Rally is similar to the Havoc. I am considering getting a 12m Rally as a "light wind kite". Can anyone comment on the overlap of the Rallly in 10 and 12. Will they be to close? Is...

Re: Upwind Board

I am the happy owner og a Mako 140 and have also tried the 150. Agree that they are great board for chop and surf. BUT: They are not that great upwind in marginal conditions. Under these conditions a more square traditional twintip is better. My Liquid Force 136*41,5 Kaos is for sure better at going...

Re: Which kites boost & wave ride?

I recently purchased a quiver of Slingshot Rallys (6, 8 and 10 m) for all round use. I am not a wave expert but occasionally surf waves with my Mako wide. I plan to purchase a directional waveboard to use with the Rallys. I certainly feel this will work. The depower is very good and linear. The kite...

Nice video. Looks like a very good speed spot and nice to see Jerome Bila competing again :-)

Cheers,

Board repair big scratches

I damaged my my brand new Liquid force Kaos board today. I hit the remains of a WW 2 bunker :-(. Some of the scrathces are very deep: The laminate has come off and the wood core is exposed some places. How is this best repaired? Sanding down and painting? Fantastic board by the way. :) Cheers, Peter

Re: 2012 Cabrinha IDS bar

Being a fan of 360 degree release I like that they have changed the QR2 to a 360 system.
Good jobs it seems. I have always been a fan of the Cabrinha QR1. Very simply an effective. As on the Genetrix kites I currently use.

Re: Single front line safety bars

Liquid force and Genetrix bars also have this feature. Cheers, Peter Hi Everyone, I'm looking to keep some of my older kites alive by upgrading their, in some cases, terrible bars. Like all of us, I have my preference for certain features. Most significantly I'm curious to see who has bars that have...

Re: The World's Fastest Kite. Period

Ps Congratulations to all the record breakers and Seb and Sophie for the successful event :D The apparent wind is much much less than 70 knot! The course is so down wind (150 degrees) thay the appparent wind is only around 25 knots at 50 knot speed with a true wind at 40 knot. See forexample http://...
