Re: Boardriding Maui Paipo, lightwind..or any wind.

Is there a leash plug on either board? No, there isn't. But you can easily put a small rope under the washer (like I did, see pic). P1080231.JPG As the space between fin screws is identical to any TT, you can also change the washer for a sangle like this: http://www.ocean44.fr/accessoires/1210-ryde...

Re: Boardriding Maui Paipo, lightwind..or any wind.

Phil spotted that I even made a cut out for the Shinn name  -I wanted the pads to cover as much as possible of the board, as I do use a large portion of the board some times... Haha… I did the same thing with the TOMO logo on my Vanguard ! This way I make sure credit to the board designer is n...

Re: Boardriding Maui Paipo, lightwind..or any wind.

I have used the shinnster for a couple of weeks, a favorite i any conditions! Pictures to show my own design of deckpads, cut from 3 large square pads, it took me about 2 hours and a bit of a mess, but worth it I think :D Shinnster%20deck%201.JPG Lovely setup Thomas! I need to get some red pad now ...

Re: What is your square meterage?

I'm at the other end of spectrum 8,10 12 = 30 Me too. I never miss a day with a 7 & 10m only this season = 17. My friend is even more of a minimalist, she is sponsored yet only rides with a 5 & 7 = 12. Means you can comfortably replace kites every season and travel easily. There is the possibility ...

Re: Boardriding Maui Paipo, lightwind..or any wind.

Hello Phil, have you tried it already? I m expecting mine tomorrow! The board has been put in the wet by a mate who had a day off this week (hence the wax on the deck) :thumb: He was impressed by the light wind ability, going upwind effortlessly when others with regular surfs were struggling.
