Check out Vila Prea in Jericoacoara / Prea in North-East Brasil. Very attractive thatched cabanas just in front of what must be one of the best kitebeaches in the world. They have a website with lots of photos http://www.vilaprea.com/ I always thought it would be a bit quiet to stay there on your ow...

Plenty of kiters in Bristol as there are now across the UK. Bristol kiters generally either head South West to kite at places like Bigbury/Bantham or Westward Ho! or cross the Severn North-West to Wales to kite at Porthcawl, Aberavon, the Gower peninsula or Pembrokeshire. It is a great spot and I ho...

Forget cars ... get a van. Cooler. You can sleep in comfort. You can fit loads of gear in it. Your gear is out of sight. And if your budget stretches to it you can add a fridge (cold beer ...), shower, computer stuff etc etc. But then I am biased: http://www.kiteforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=23403...

Not sure where you are based but if purchased in the UK my view is that you would have a right to return this for repair, replacement or refund.

Have North sorted out the pads and straps though? The 07 ones were difficult to fit and pretty much impossible to adjust mid session without landing your kite to wrestle with them with both hands. What a relief when I ditched my 07 Dragon and got a couple of Spleene boards instead. Would be interest...

Bridle is the correct spelling when referring to kites.

Bridal is the word used in the context of weddings.

I had the same problem with North pads. Difficult to install and difficult to adjust. Such an effort in fact that the only safe way to adjust them is to land your kite, adjust and relaunch. No prospect of adjusting those straps mid session. Gave up and purchased a couple of Spleene boards with the l...

Bump.

Many thanks for the thoughts. This drifted a bit off topic though. Any further thoughts on the question as to how to round out a quiver comprising a 14m. and 10m. 07 Vegas?

- 7m Vegas
- 7m Rebel
- 7m Rhino?

Best,
