Re: EZE=No Joke

I asked in the Monsoonz thread about the differences between the Monsoonz, Liquid Torque, and the EZE but I'm wonding if anyone in this thread can be more specific. I know they all share the original bow patent, but is there also a newer patent for ultra flat kites and the infill panel between the s...

Re: Ultra flat - Monsoonz 14 - 2008

So what is the difference, if any, between the Monsoonz, Liquid Torque, and the Freak Dog EZE? I know Eric H. is the guy behind Freak Dog and there is some licensing or legal issue on selling EH kites in the USA (that is why they named them Freak Dog). Makes me wonder if the 'Soonz and Torque are li...

What is the best light wind kite?

I travel and can only fit a smaller board in my stealth bag. And I'm not always going primarily for kiting -- sometimes for work, with my wife, other sports, etc. So I want the smallest possible kite to ride lighter winds. That way, at least I'll get some riding in even if it isn't honkin'. Doesn't ...

Yeah, us American's are freaks.

How about we pronounce it "hey-soos" instead of "gee-sus?"

This is great! Haven't laughed that hard on Kiteforum in a while! This could go on for a while, too. Particularly liked "lumber of the beast" 666 Number of the beast 668 Neighbor of the beast 660 Approximate number of the beast DCLXVI Roman numeral of the beast 666.0000 Number of the high-precision ...

While I may never get down there to enjoy your efforts, I applaud it. Seems like the PVC/foam idea seems best to my feeble mind. Trying to make artificial sandbars or grown plants seems difficult. Mother nature may not cooperate and you could end up with one huge weed farm. Or a storm comes in and m...

USA Kitesurfing School Insurance Providers?

Who are the companies providing insurance for kite schools? Are there enough doing it to prevent a oligopoly? Who are the ones in the USA?

Thanks.

Although you can't go wrong with either kite, you could save some smack by buying the SB3 kite only. The bar is the same as the one that comes with the 12m SB3 that you already have. The Contra 3 is much improved over the 2 in terms us turning speed, bar pressure, and most of all, durability. Althou...

My '08 SB3 in white and day glow neon orange is vile. I love the performance, but the color looks like a cheap pool toy straight from the Wal-Mart lead paint aisle. Anyone wanna trade? It's a 12m. The other color SB3s are great.
