Re: The New Moto - Introducing Cabrinhas Freeride Triple Threat

FX is decent in waves and good for boosting and looping. I think there's a big overlap now tbh.
Exactly, there is overlap on the FX, Switchblade, and Drifter. That is the point of the kite. Does this infographic help?

Re: The New Moto - Introducing Cabrinhas Freeride Triple Threat

The FX is freestyle/wakestyle unhooked.

Not much like the Radar at all. Other than both being Cabrinha.

Re: Cabrinha Moto - new Kite 2019

Some stuff has arrived at dealers and other stuff hasn't. We got some boards, H2O and H1's, Switchblades, bars, and Xbreeds. The Moto's arrive to us next week. We haven't had wind to test much so we just have unboxing videos at this point.

Re: Cabrinha Moto - new Kite 2019

I don't think they (Cabrinha) are doing a beginner kite at all anymore. All the kites schools are happier with Switchblades as you can get what you want out of it by how you fly it.

But, um, I do think of that Motorola commercial, "Hello Moto". :)

Re: 2018 - Cabrinha Kitesurfing

In past years, August 1st is the date that the Cab website and full details were available. Also in past years, product was available in stores around September 1st. Hopefully this year it will be sooner than that.

Re: M6 Brass Nut for Chinook Track, where to get?

So, pole boarders use M8's too. The nearest shop said they used to use something close to an M6 but in English threading but the kept breaking (too small for the load?). On the North track system -- the nearest North dealer said North doesn't sell the track parts separate. Chinook sell M8. Even the ...

Re: 6M Brass Nut for Chinook Track, where to get?

Thanks everyone. Peter, your explanations are always thorough and accurate. I knew in the back of my mind I was writing something wrong when I put 8M instead of M8, but I wasn't sure. Maybe you can answer the pitch then too? Is it 1 thread per centimeter or millimeter or something else entirely? Lik...

M6 Brass Nut for Chinook Track, where to get?

Seems most brands use the 8M x 1.25 pitch, but I need the M6 brass nut and I think it is 1.0 pitch. I don't want to name the brands in case that starts a flame war (oh shoot, that will start it for sure). Anyway, that brass t-nut thingy that lays in the Chinook track is what I'm looking for. So yeah...

Re: Cabrinha Fireball update

I like the Fireball. Is it a "game changer"? No. Is it good? Yes. I won't go back to a regular spreader bar unless something better comes along. Pimp warning, we sell Cabrinha, Ozone, Naish, Ocean Rodeo, Dakine, Mystic, NP, etc. I could use any bar and I paid my dealer price as I do for all my gear....
