Re: Slingshot wave Sst Self Launch

I have had the SSTs for two years now. Ridden in all kinds of winds. When it's light I usually use my board and in stronger winds I put some sand on the canopy. On one or both sides of the middle strut, depending on conditions. No problems at all like that. It's only more difficult when it is slippe...

Re: Go Foil powered by a kite for waveriding

Holy cow! I finally had the chance to try the Takuma foil with a pocket board and a 7m kite. Is that thing slow! I was reminded of the first time I tried a surfboard again after some days of foiling. At one point I actually turned the board to see if I had a plastic bag or something else slowing me...

Re: Go Foil powered by a kite for waveriding

I've searched around the Internet, seems a bit tricky to buy a Takuma wing/ fuse setup separately, and find a compatible 90 cm mast separately. Everything us sold with Mast. I'm interested in a really slow setup for our rough conditions, and I'll use my faster Moses setup in flatter conditions. Oth...

Re: Takuma mast hole spacing

I just checked the actual Slingshot mast. I think it was the one that is sold for the windfoils at the moment, too. And I checked the profile in the "Slingshot 2018 Windsurf Foil Collection Book". It looks like this: http://2xs.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/2xs_slingshott_windsurf_foil_hover_glid...

Hey Gunnar,
are you using the standard Takuma Foil here? Standard back wing, too? And the 60 cm mast or a bit longer? Looks pretty agile. That's good. I hope I will intensely use it for three weeks in August.
Cheers

Re: kfbox to plate mount

hello, I got this from Fone. I'm building a pocket board with it... That box looks interesting. Can you screw your KFbox foil to it and then put it on a board with plate mount? Did I get that right? Do you know if it will take the one-screw-version from ketos, too? Then I might be able to use a new...

Re: kfbox to plate mount

Sorry...perhaps I didn' t explain me well. I have kfbox in my board and I want to mount a plate mount foil.. Thanks That´s exactly what I am looking for, too. I would like to mount my Takuma foil to my KFbox board. Hoping it will be fun with a kite, too. Not just with a SUP, which is what I bought ...

Re: Biggest kite for a surfboard?

I guess most people will tell you to sell the 15m because such a big kite sucks with a surfboard. I would be one of them. My biggest is a 9m which I hardly ever use with a surfboard. But I have a foilboard for lower winds, so thats a bit different from your situation. On the other hand there are peo...
