Re: What length of lines are suitable for a Naish Aero 14m

IF its your first C kite then be very careful very careful. Have you flown other kites before, if so what and for how long? THESE KITES HAVE NO DEPOWER TO SPEAK OF AND CAN LIFT YOU OFF THE GROUND VERY EASILY!! stay with 24meter lines as standard if you are a beginner get some 10meter lines for a whi...

Re: Ozone 2011 Manta, Frenzy & Access Photos

Got to ride the 2011 13 frenzy and the 11 Frenzy at the Wanakite in New Zealand last week, in very underpowered conditions!! 13 was the grunt master, very nice ( i have a 12 manta) was way faster to turn and more power too.

felt very nice and would trade up without a thought.

Re: 2011 C4

ive been using ozone since 2007 so im a bit biased. The shop i work in has naish and north as well and i get to fly the new kites when they come out. Yes i have released the C/L once or twice on the Ozone, mainly on snow when getting dragged on my belly. But when coming in from unhooked moves, the C...

Re: Race board users. Is it better to run downwind with one

Why is this being done on a raceboard at all is the real question. If we know this then we might be able to help alot more. raceboards are not made for long downwind runs but built for upwind performance. Any damn board out there is pretty much better for downwind. :thumb: It always amazes me when ...

Re: Ben Wilson announces his new Brand

Good on ya Ben.

was only a matter of time really. all i can say is make sure the Q/R is up to the task and you have a great flagging system and you wont go down the same path as some other brands.

Re: Need tips for not getting dragged downwind please.

hey here is my 10 cents, most students when trying to go upwind have bad body position so i start from here and then work on the kite stuff very soon after. imagine that you want to point your harness hook in the direction you want to travel in. I use a body part because it sticks in your mind, so p...
