Amen on the coning. Although it does seem to help many kites with drift. Even "bad' things can be useful.

You can use a fast hardener, some silica and balloons, and keep shaping it until it's kicking. Or set the board on edge with tape dams off top and bottom to pour between. Is it regular or "double depower?" maybe d-d could be better, or change the deployment length like woodfu said? I'd ask someone who has used both... Good advice Klaus. But if I crash and do tangle, if things calm down, I attach the board to the CL and/or leash to keep lines stretched and not tangle too much more.
