This launch is fine for those kind winds if you like to surf when it nukes. Just not when it's onshore.

Like anything in life. You calculate the risk/reward. Best wave/wind days of the year are always during the Fall storms. No dilly dallying on the beach in these conditions. As a rule, gusting >35kn onshore is a no go for me tho.

From the vid it looks like you like to be very powered up on shorter lines. I prefer being slightly under powered on small kites and a surfboard.
