I dont know about you guys but i have never seen any white caps with 6 knots of wind. Sounds more like 10k and even then just a hint. Looks like some of us are taking their dreams for reality. Never the less whatever the wind stregth, a comparison with other kites is always interesting.

If they spent the same money as other "top" brand manufacturers in advertising, sponsoring etc there is no doubt in my mind that they would be much more known. But then again, who cares, as long as i know about them. I heard that they are working on a new web site though...

That just shows how impotant is sponsoring and advertising for other (overated ?) brands which probably spent more money doing that than developing their products...

You are absulutly right. The lift does have a bigger high end but if you are serious about waves the Curl is the choice. Faster relaunch, faster turns and smooth acceleration.

For what it is worth,i have been using Cabrinha kites for the past 3 years, i am 63kg and use CO2 kites 2004 7.5/10/12/14 and i would reccomend 14m and 10m.The 10 is very powerfull for it's size and gets planning as soon as the 12 but can be held in stronger winds, the 14 is a very usefull size with...

Bent kites?

Some of my friends have kites (various brands) which after a while tend to fly to one side of the window when parked overhead. Some even stear easier to one side and harder to the other. After closer inspection it looks like the front bladder housing is bent.Could that be due to the bladder not beeing...

Where i come from waves come with strong wind so grip is essential.I personnaly favour a TT 140x32 in fact just wide enough to fit my feet so as to have the same leverage over the rail on both sides when waveriding. Now if you do get waves with little wind perhaps a floatier board like a directionna...

I haven't heard a single bad comment about GK kites and wonder why they are not more popular.I have yet to see one, but ordered 9/12/15 GK Curl thinking it is probably better than the Lift for sailing in waves. Has anyone tried the Curl in any size? If so i will be glad to hear from you.
