Re: Pain in foot after kiting.

I had a Bronq sometime back with an earlier incarnation of sneaker pads and straps.
I found the sneakers to be most uncomfortbale and would flatten and not hold thier shape.

I changed them for some crazyfly Hexa's - sorted.

Re: Beginner going upwind question

Great Stuff! Lots of good advice on this thread about optimising all aspects and learning the 'feel' - (hey I even agreed with Matty V, now there's a first!) We all learn differently I guess and I needed some good wind, welll powered sessions to get the upwind dialled. Way more wind than I expected!...

A 14m Apollo may be fun, but for the love of God avoid a 14m S/B

Re: 13m contra instead of 12m switchblade

I'm 116Kg and have used every kite I've every owned above it's 'typical' wind limit. I had a 13m Contra when they first came out and it was a dog - would not go upwind. They changed the 13m a lot and I have now read for a number of years it's as good as the 15m I've never really had a problem with t...

Re: 13m contra instead of 12m switchblade

All depends on how you kite, style, water state blah blah. But if you want to be covered for a good range of winds, that will allow you to kite when you are available, then I'd suggest adding a 12m S/B to your 8m & 10m quiver as it sounds like you know it (and possibly trust it) and also a 15m Contr...

Board leash only treats anxiety about body dragging.
Particularly when there are sharks around!
