I am leaning towards the Contra, but just want to be sure I'm not missing a trick with another brand.
I'm still curious about the raven and the double de-power system - anyone with experience of the larger sizes out there?

Thanks

Hi, I have recently upgraded my 12m CB1 to a 12m CB2 and have been really pleased. The one pump system and the kite characteristics of the CB2 are great. Light bar, fast turning and subtle feel. I'm now considering an upgrade of my CB1 16m - I'm gutted they no longer do a 16m CB so what are my optio...

Hi As someone of a similar stature, I thought I'd offer my experience to date, having been an eternal novice and now at last becoming competent. As with windsurfing, when you are heavy you need a lot of power to get up and going. Once you are on your way, the need for masses of extra power isn't so ...

Hi, I have a Spleene Door 64 (I'm a little heavier than most!) The light wind performance is amazing, especially the ability to go up wind. It's suprisingly easy to use even when the wind picks up. For the spleene site go to http://www.spleene.com/ Enter the site and go to 'shops' listed on left - v...

Hi I am recently back from Cabarete. I would have described myself as a long term novice and was determined to progress. I chose Kite Excite for a couple of lessons as they use radios. Like you I was getting up and away from the shore ok and needed some tuition whilst out on the water. The radio lin...
