Re: which ozone reo V3 set???

I'm the Australian importer/distributor for Ozone. Ok thats out of the way. I live in a coastal location and only ride surfboards, mostly strapped, in waves. Just received my 2017 V4 reo's and I went for 6/8/10/12 this year. Last year, V3, I had 7/8/9/10/12 (was trying to go with 7/9/12, but a team ...

Re: Ozone edge V8 stitching on leading edge

The pressure loading is greatest in a conical tapered inflated tube at the point of maximum diameter, which is where the tests where conducted. Gerrys (teabaggins) kite shows quite pronounced bulging in this area, this can only happen from overinflation as the tests have proven. Your assumption that...

Re: Don't show us your hook

Very interesting topic! It will also be a benefit for riders with shorter arms. It will also help when landing the kite to immediately release, so you will not be connected anymore and you release more times so it can become a reflex, which could save your life. Exactly Toby! Where I live I often k...

Don't show us your hook

Started this on another forum and its proved very popular and is clearly very educational. Manufacturers please pay attention, we don't need a hook, if you make your chicken loop release failproof. I ride mainly surfboards. 80kg wet even if the rope slider break I do not lose my kite and can ride ba...

Re: New Ride Engine harness review

Had at least 20 sessions on my carbon elite, with carbon spreader bar. Most comfortable harness I have ever used, does not ride up at all. I am size 34 pants 80kgs wet, was wearing size M Mystic Warrior or NP Bomb, but definitely need Size L in the RE ( I purchased a size M as well and no way I fit ...

Re: Control bar with shortest safety / chicken loop assembly

Ozone make a short throw bar with the shortest possible chicken loop for females and kids, contact a good Ozone dealer. A local here who is a tad under 5' tall used my one recently and really liked it, she is sponsored by another brand and really has some issues reaching their bars depower, and the ...

Re: Drone

Nice little rig Chemo. I flew my Phantom2 with all DJI FPV gear and a 7" HD monitor, and go pro on the zenmuse 3d gimbal in 17-24/25 knots today, in the stronger gusts it was hard to control and keep stationary over the subject area, when the wind dropped it was not hard to fly forwards into the win...

Re: Chrono 15m kite review

I'm not sure what he's saying either ;) but it sounds like he's saying wow this kite is a better looking updated version of the Flysurfer speed 2 silverarrow and by the looks of it pretty much flies similiarly. I'd love to try this kite, anyone successful in getting a demo in USA? That would be bec...
