Rhino 04 20, is it big enough difference to a Naish X2 18?

G'day All, I have an X2 18 and was thinking of getting a Rhino 04 20 but I am concerned that there is not enough difference in power between the two. I am 115 to 120 kg (depends upon how much kiting I get in, more kiting = less of me), riding Airush 04 Switch 155 . The X2 18 doesn't start performing...

no way, the winds in Tassie can be absolutely wild. When the cold fronts come through, 40/50 knots, man thats too much. The only time we get strng winds are when a cyclone passes by.

...and don't forget cold. Thats one thing I don't like at all anymore. I lived in Tasmania (similar lattitude to NZ) for a few years and I can count on one hand how many warm days we had sailing, where as in the tropics, a pair of shorts, shirt for sun only, all year round (well maybe not during the...

G'day All, thanks again for the congrats, 10 feet yes, but I did lots of 10 cm ones too, I fluked the first one, all I know is to pull back hard so thats what I did, now to do it more often, thats the trick. Darwin's beaches aren't that nice and yes we do have crocs (not many sharks 'cause the crocs...

G'day All, I wanted to talk to the good guys, all buzzed and talking like a school girl at a rock concert, but thought better not, might seem un-cool, me with my up, down 10 foot jump, them and their 15 feet, double back loop wizzy one handed thingy's, play it cool and pretend I'm one of them now. C...

Today ... I became a man!

G'day All, I had my first good wind, I was able to stay upwind and yes, I did my first jumps. I entered the water a boy, came out a man. I will remember the first one. 10 feet or so, not big by any means but when you add 6'5" at 120 kilos, that must be alot of forces involved, you'd think laws of ph...

G'day guy's, not a fan of pork pies. I'm glad to see there are other heavy dudes out there, I don't feel so bad. My X2 18 seems to be a good allrounder for me so far, but I have'nt had it out in stronger than 15 knots so far, so as yet, I don't know my top end yet. I modified and old pole board whic...

Who is the heaviest kiter you know?

G'day, I'm new here so be gentle. I'm 120 kg and was wondering if there are other heavy dudes out there and what is their weight. I know of a 200 kg windsurfer in Singapore, and wondering about Kitesurfing. I'm a beginner too and with not many kiter around me, what would a 120 kg rider use. I have a...
