best season for wind in tofino is Spring. June is getting a little late, but doable. Works somewhat often in fall too, and the swells feel a little more powerful. All NW winds. Cox bay and North chesterman work well. the best seson is Winter, big waves - but you need to know where to go to catch SE ...

I think the only answer is that someone (PKRA maybe???) needs to just buck up and start a wave tour. period. It will suck for the first few years, but if you get enough interest from enough good riders, it will sort itself out and become a self-fulfilled prophecy. ...but it'll need to suck for a whi...

best just to try it and then you tell us dude. Quad's can make the board do very different things depending on clustering, toe angles, cants, and the fins themselves. You can make the board snappier, looser, better tracking, faster, slower, more drive, whatever.... I reckon the shaper has a lot more...
