Re: Aguera CR 69

I think that photo is out of date. But quite a few of my friends have new LE CR69's, and I raced against Alex 2 weeks ago - all of them have diamond tails, and all are from the same mold.

but I could be way wrong. I don't have one myself.
you are best to contact Alex.

Re: Aguera CR 69

I'm fairly certain that there is only now one Aguera board being made, which is the LE CR 69, which is a production-qualified board, and which does have a diamond tail. The model year is fairly arbitrary, but I guess that would make it a 2011. so in short... if you call Alex and buy a board, then ye...

Re: naish torch depower system 2011 vs 2012

on my Torches I have always used the leash to the 5th line, but I use a stopper about a meter or so up. So it doesn't flag out, it just de-powers the kite and lets it stay in the air.

Re: Canadian National Champs 2011 - Pre-Event Report

Four races today. The first three were awesome racing and great wind. Then after a lunch break we got back out on the water and the winds had picked up and changed directions. It doesn't show on the graph, but it went from fairly steady powered 9m/11m conditions to very gusty and extremely shifty wi...

Pre-Event Report: It feels like event time now that people are starting to arrive from out of town. The first to show was Patrick Rynne from Florida – I picked him up from the airport last night and we drove right up here to Squamish, to the sound of him saying repeatedly “this is so pretty” about t...

Re: Why the long depower rope??

yeah - I guess I should have mentioned that all credit goes to Adam & team fluid for the system, or for having put thought in to any system at all. A while ago I was struggling with the stock bar system that I had with my bar for racing. I come from a sailing background and so I figured I could make...
