I once put my bar end through the base of my favorite surfboard. that hurt all over.

the long line isn't the point, it's the result of a higher-purchase depower system. if you go 3:1 or 4:1, then you get fine tuning control of the kite with a lot less stength needed and can do it under load. But you end up with a long tail because you need to pull a more line for less trim. its a tr...

I think you're right on the top 3 favorites. Not sure what the order will be, but it is racing so you never know! I hope to see a pretty good mixup in the top 10 from all over though, but I do think that the two red/white/blue nations generally show promise. Sounds like it's going to be a crazy fast...

Adam Vance, Canada - Could be a top 10'er. Dude is fast in San Fran & Squamish and was a very close second at masters worlds. It ain't all Euro vs. USA! N.Am Kite Race tour???

Have there been any specific talks or plans for a North American Kite Racing Tour in the future?

I would imagine that between places like the Gorge, Squamish, SFran, La Ventana, Maui, TX, FL and somewhere in the Northeast, that one could come up with an interesting and realistic circuit.
