Re: Quinko valves, anyone?

Has anyone used these though? Seems like the weak point of any valve is the adhesive joint. This solves this problem. I see this product being very useful!

Re: Can't get valve off bladder

Edt got it right.
Glues that take long to dry are not used because it would not be efficient for kite manufacturers. Ultrasonic welding takes seconds. Solvent based glues take hours.

Re: Can't get valve off bladder

Water toys use pvc. Kite bladders are made of pu. PU is More flexible in different temps and better at uv resistance. Problem is pvc valves ues plasticisers that are slowly released at the joint with the pu bladder and can cause the glue to fail. Adhesives that are plasticiser resistant do exist tho...

Re: QUINKO valves, anyone?

The fact that it does not contain any components that can cure or dryout prematurely is nice. Tapes and Glue don't like hot cars for years at a time. No matter what manufacturer you get your spare valves from. Weight: I am not sure if they are that much heavier than original valves and plastic plate...

Quinko valves, anyone?

Hi! I am wondering if anyone has any experience using these types of glueless type of replacement valves. Would love to know what the community thinks of these. http://kite1replacement1valve1repair1no2glue.wordpress.com/2016/02/10/kite-valve-replacement-how-it-works-new/ colour-diagram-copy.png Step...
