Re: Infinity V4 light wind manchine

There seems to be general lack of technical detail on EPIC site. Sure it gets you the wind range turning speed in some relative terms, etc.. But I could not locate any information on: - materials used to make the kite - aspect ratio, exact size (or any size in some cases), etc This is exactly the t...

Re: new flysurfer tube kite

I picked up the Boost 18m. I've been kiting for two years and only had one session on this kite, so this isn't really a review but more of first thoughts. First session was around 9-16mph, so definitely not light wind. Started with the Sector 60 and finished up on the Spleene Zone. The bridle is cra...

Re: Slingshot Celeritas light wind fins?

Your main problem will be the FCS fin boxes. They're not designed for long fins like ones in the Sector/Alias with the mini-tuttle box. These are the largest FCS fins I could find. They're X-Large Size and I'm using them on my Airush Cypher 5'10 (the 2014 3" thick model) http://www.surffcs.com/shop/...

Re: LF Kitefish foil mount location?

As others have said, the location would need to match the foil. But here's what it is.

Re: Lockable tie downs for board bag

I have the Kanulocks and the Yakima Ripcord. The Kanulocks have two stainless steel cables inside the strap. The Ripcord has one cable and it's sandwiched inside a plastic sleeve. Because of that I would guess the RipCord is not stainless. The Kanulocks are a lot more supple compared to the Ripcord ...

Any updates on the Aurora 19m? Does it fly with a 4 line bar? What's the low end on it like?

Re: What ever happened to those rotating foot straps?

I have one on the front of one of my surfboards. I like it. I wanted to get another one but the guy who was making them no longer sells them.

Re: Airush kite bag

Similar issue with my Zero 18. Not sure what Airush was thinking by doing this!? My guess is it was cheaper to just order generic bags from a factory that already makes these without any modifications. At first I tried putting straps on the pump and bar bag to attach them to the bag but just gave up...
