Used Gear

You'd hard pressed to beat the price point of the Best Waroo for a lower priced 08 kite. And that's only the price. Things only get better when you compare performance.

Kiting in Cozumel

Heading to Mexico the end of January first part of February. Last time I was there winds were pretty light but we were on the mainland. This year were staying on Cozumel on the West side of the island. Just wondering if any one has any experience this time of the year and can tell me what to expect....

if you need something with more support then the unions but still easy in and out get a pair of LF Vantage.

When you wipe out with your bindings on you may feel like you're being stretched out a bit.

Flexifoil and slingshot don't have a reinforced L.E. seam or reinforce the trailing edge on their kites.

They shouldn't be on here.

Best and Gloderider get it for there leading edge seam. Ocean Rodeo gets it for everything else. None make a bad kite. It should be standard now that all L.E seams be wrapped, but best and gloderider have taken it one step further and reinforced between the seam to prevent perforation from thread wh...

what would you choose, and why? 08 Slingshot rev 15m or 08 Naish Helix 16m Neither. The 07 OR Rise is the same as the Rev but came out the year before and it's cheaper. The 08 Rise is better then the 07 and it's still cheaper then the Rev. The 07 Helix is really slow turning. At the SurfExpo the Na...

Where to go early December?

I'm looking to get away in early December. Not sure where to go.

Some where lower U.S. or Central America would be good. I'm not looking for anything to expensive. Flat water and 7 days of wind would be perfect. Easily accessible is good to since I wont have a car or boat.

Thanks.

Has any one tried teh 17m Contra?

A bunch of my buddies had 16m Rise and One kites last year that also had great low end.

I've never flown on but I would like to try a 20m Waroo this year. I don't care if I jump with it I just want to try low powered tricks.

I have an 06 16m Waroo that was awesome. I ride my big kites with a 145 Jimmy Lewis Model 3. Big kites and big boards seem to compleminet each other well. It may not have been the fastest kites but if you were riding flat water and timed you jumps right there was nothing more fun to ride. It still b...
