I also think because he let out his bar when he looped it, when I loop my current kite I will usually pull in the bar, in the other vids they turn pretty fast.

Currently I ride Blade kites but from the kites you listed I would get the Kahoonas. They are very user friendly and relaunch very easily, which is what you want for a beginner, this is not to say that the other kites out there won't do this but they are pricier. San Quintin is best in the Spring and summer but not so much in August.

I think based on the videos that both kites were impressive, that you can loft them like that at low wind speed. Not that I would go out on such condition but I think that it is great that these kites can do that is case you are out and the wind start to die off. Now you will at least have a chance ...
