Re: Whats better for 10 to 15 knots of wind?

I went to the beach today when the wind unexpectedly picked up to 20mph....from the lower teens.... and was surprised to see 2 Fat Ladys out having a good time. I was rigging a 14m, because it was legitimately 14m weather, and my buddy rigged a 12m, because it was 12m for him, yet the Fat Ladys were...

Re: Blade Light Wind Kite?

I am about 95kg as well.. and have been out into at least 25mph (not knots). The kite would depower enough, but by this wind speed, the rear lines were too loose to really have a ton of fun on the kite... You can get some fun floaty jumps, but really I would have jumped higher with a 12m. Fun kite.....

Re: Blade Light Wind Kite?

I know what you are talking about on the struts. The struts are so thin that they bend over at the tips when sitting on the beach. It looks different... but performance wise, I have not found that this causes any issue. When the kite is flying, the wind is pushing the opposite direction, and the tra...

Re: Best lightwind kite - Infinity, Zephyr or Turbine?

I have to agree that the Fat Lady is a kite to try if you are interested in lightwind performance. Of the lightwind kites I have tried, and the feedback I have received from others, the Fat Lady is likely the fastest turning of the bunch. It is built very light, with a relatively small leading edge,...

It allows Flash content to work within Mobile Safari... but I agree.. lots of people are using I-devices.... Thanks Mr. Jobs! all info at the Blade Website... http:...
