kitesurf Fort Lauderdale

Hi All, where is the best place to kite in Fort Lauderdale? I'll be there for the next few Sundays so hoping if the wind cooperates i might get out for a few hours. I'm competent so i'm fine with intermediate/advanced spots. But would prefer a spot where there is most likely to be other kiters aroun...

kite adapter for SUP pump

does anyone know of an adapter that i can fit on my inflatable SUP pump to pump my kite? i know it will take longer but means i only need to carry the SUP pump which is smaller and easier to pack. don't want to travel with both pumps.

thanks

Re: TAP baggage Hell

Yea that happened to me on the way out but only got charged €130 on the way back. I packed the kiteboard in with the directional. Put my clothes in hand luggage and folded the kite bag in half so it was std size to check in. I think the allowance was 2 x 32kg but u pay for each oversize bag regardle...

Re: Wainman bar question

if you have 2 bars you could always attach the other chicken loop to the back of ur harness for a spare, if you drop the original use your spare, then kite around till u find the dropped one and pick it up cause it floats. maybe not the best option, but its an option. :-?

wainman kite settings for surf.

Question for the Wainman riders out there using the kites in the surf. What settings are you using in the waves.
Downwind, upwind, standard?
Normal lines, short lines?

Do u adjust for different conditions or always keep them the same?

Thanks

Re: Stoke Thread :)

Followed up today's sessions in Brazil with steak, lobster & beer. Doesn't get much better than that :-)
