Made wood composite wings, 4 layers of 3mm birch ply, 3 layers of biaxial glass, bent/pressed up on a wood jig for Anhedral. Routered out wing profile on another jig, Cut shape sanded, then Vacuumed layered some carbon up on the outside using a small vacuum bag. Made three sets in like 5 hrs work. I...

If you look at marine animals nothing on them are sharp except for trailing edges, blunt leading edges rule supreme, with the exception of needle fish.

Cut a shim out of a credit card, most people have a few setting around needing to be cut up. My foil is balanced, usually heading down wind I tend to push the nose down, due to using the kite like a drifter, the kite is low which puts more weight on the front foot.

Its still growing, I see growth in the regional groups in Michigan they tend to travel around. Regionally its a year around sport, Water and snow, even have snowboarded and kited on the water the same day. Seems like I'm meeting new people all the time from all over MI. It seems like boards and skis...

Revere Beach looked to be a great spot for kiteboarding, So many cool spots to ride around there, Need to session some of the cool beaches in Mass sometime. Darn plovers are a bane in more places, even in the Great lakes

Foam core they are, the foil fish has 4 Epoxy/something pillars were the bolts go through. You'll
still need to drill your holes dig the foam out inside each hole and fill with epoxy/filler stuff and re drill.

2 years, on average, never had Q-line break though, thats what I use for replacement.

Spent the last 3 month learning to foil, Zen high, but I have to admit my last quick TT session gave me a great adrenaline rush/fix. To type of highs still addicted to the adrenaline rush even after 15yrs.
