Re: Which is better for heavy weight rider Evo or Rebel ?

blackened- I have no idea what psi I pump my kites to... The gauges on every kite pump are wildly inaccurate. I pump till it's hard, I think probably 6-7psi would be my guess. We recommend 6PSI because it seems to be good for most people, but if you're getting better results at higher PSI then go fo...

Re: Nit-picking questions about my 2017 9m Rebel

Doh. Wrote out a response yesterday and accidentally closed the window. Dammit. 1. Pretty much all kites will flutter a bit when flown aggressively enough, like in loops. I would not worry about it. I tend to think your canopy will get more working/chafe from a few minutes sitting on the beach flapp...

Re: Which is better for heavy weight rider Evo or Rebel ?

I just responded to a PM but will post here in case anyone else has similar thoughts. Also, those of you afraid to pump up your Duotone kites past 6PSI... I have not seen a blown LE on one of our kites in years. That is not a challenge, and I think 6PSI should be plenty, but I don't think you'll hav...

Re: Duotone Pro Fish

As a B&M/Duotone employee I am obviously biased but a few thoughts for those interested... The Pro Fish is not a Nugget replacement. The Nugget was (and still is) great for light wind and making the most of small, shitty conditions, but when you get in any reasonable wind or waves the board can beco...

Re: Duotone 2020

Short answer: No, you do not need to worry about any issues. All kites bought from retail stores are cosmetically perfect. Longer answer: A portion of the initial shipment of kites had color migrate from the back panel of the bag to the canopy of the kite in shipping (basically a small cosmetic smud...

Re: FAO Dan at Duotone

hmmm. I'm still not a great foiler, but I've been on Dice the whole time I'm on the foil without any kite issues (just balance issues for me at this point). Especially with the new lighter-weight TE I think it should work great for foiling. I don't think settings should really matter, it'll probably...

Re: Duotone 2020

First of all there are a lot of people on here who feel that the lines we're using are subpar compared to others on the market, so I will submit to your collective experience and admit that there is room for us to improve our lines, and like I said, I'm sure it's something we're working on. And as f...
