Re: Slingshot ghost 4m buckling under high winds starting loads.

Yeah, it happens on single strut kites in high wind with high loads. My uno does the 4m same. Pump it rock hard and adapt your technique to suit. You are probably throwing your kite too deep in the power zone. Try the send closer to the edge of the window. Fly the kite more actively towards the edge...

Re: Where to keep the kite while being eaten by a wave / wave eject

Kite is down and about to be hit by the washing machine but you aren't. This is the most dangerous situation because you are not in the airated water. You can be drowned by being pulled under water in non airated water. A) Small waves. Generally you will not be dragged under water. Make a decision ...

Re: Where to keep the kite while being eaten by a wave / wave eject

What you do with the kite is dependent on the situation. Here's a couple of scenario's Crashed and the wave is about to hit you. A) Use the kite to power you through the wave and out the other side, thus avoiding the washing machine B) Power up in the direction the wave is going and attempt to bodys...

Re: Kite landboard in bumpy meadow

I'm you want to do twisty spider monkey tricks then I agree with Slide. Small board with small wheels. But if you want to blaze the rough then you need to upsize to bigger wheels/tyre combo. Check out some of my vids from back in the day. In Twilight cruise i'm riding a rock garden at 3 mins. https:...

Re: Slingshot supernatural mutant..... looks a lot like my build.

Great to see a mutant in production & having seen the pre-production version Sam was using it does look v nice, just a pity this doesn’t have fin boxes and bigger fins I tried all sorts of fin combos including monster fins and came to the conclusion that 55-60mm quad fins give the best grib/slide c...

Slingshot supernatural mutant..... looks a lot like my build.

I wonder if slingshot have been trolling kiting forum for board ideals?

Either way, I say cool to see mutants making a come back.

Re: What am I doing wrong and I keep breaking my TT boards?

Maybe time to get a custom board. Get one made stronger to suit your style. I agree with others, Wood core is the go. For really robust look at bamboo, that can take a beating. I would also add, rocker to the board, that will dissipate the load on landing better. Why not carbon? I thought that carb...
