Re: fatality in france

The other thing to consider is that people react differently to this type of news. some like to offer condolensces and deal with it by trying to understand why... neither is wrong. just different.

Re: fatality in france

I think your wrong kitepilot. theses sorts of threads are the exact location to discuss the accident the errors and learn from them.

The only positive thing that can come out of this is that we learn something from it and ensure we are safer in the future.

Re: Fatality in NE Brazil

This is another trajic accident that by the sound of it could have been avoided with better planning. I still don't truely understand this accident. How far down wind are the posts? how wide was the beach? how far did she get dragged before she hit the posts? were they directly downwind? Does any on...

Re: fatality in france

This is obviously a devistating loss for the family and freinds of this poor bloke. When these things happen I look at it and think how would i react? what would I do and more importantly what can you learn from this and how can improve your safety. In this instance and in most instances i think the...

24hrs on a landboard!

well last week i did the first ever 24hr kite landboard.

Conditions were insane to say the least. 25knots as a minimum rising to 30-35 gusting to 40+ when the squals hit.

I managed 240km in these manic conditions.

Re: Airush snowkite

those are some sweet vids. love the gliding..... "Saying your kite does everything better is just B.S." I didn't say that. foils are slower with less depower. thats there disadvantage. in some instances thats not a disadvantage. ps foils folding in on themselves is all down to pilot error. me thinks...

Re: Airush snowkite

"once again "my kite is better then yours B.S."" no its not. i have foils and sle's and use both on land and water depending on the conditions. I have a direct comparison as i fly both types regularily. Do you? Tuesaday i flew the 6m ozone access (foil) in 30+knots, Saturday i flew the 8m ozone ligh...
