Re: What great advertising for kiting in Tarifa!

No reason to call for a boycott after the actions of one (!) police officer imho. Spot is closed in summertime, enforcement depending on the officer on duty as mentioned by Liam/Maarten et al. Without knowing more from either the kiter or the police about the situation, we can't really say anything ...

Re: 2016 Ben Wilson Surf Aeneema 8m/9m Review

The issues that you have with the Ae2 might be more related to the lines & bar than to the kite. I am also wondering/interested in the Ae2 as a pure wave kite and hope there's someone who can shed some light on them from personal experience. They're going for pretty good rates now so I'm looking at ...

Re: Softest surf strap?

Are you talking about for a TT, or a SB? Surfboard! OK. Then I've gotta say, I don't understand the need for those wide straps at all. If you're using straps on a SB you don't want a strap that locks you in place like on a TT, you really want something that offers minimal "hold", so that you can sl...

Infexion's my goto place for new lines, perfect execution and the best base materials. Which makes me feel safe in all circumstances that I won't be surprised by a failing line

Re: Softest surf strap?

That looks nice - but not asymmetrical - I like these: https://www.kitemana.com/dakine/x-lace-wave-footstrap-56796 I have those, have been out on them just once and they felt good, not drawing (negative) attention to them. Got them at a steep discount, only €29: https://bwsurf.eu/store/accessories/...

Re: Quiver advice

Nobody taking his weight into account? I would diall it a bit down and go for a 11/8 quiver or even 10/7 with 65 kgs Do you think he could do 11 knots with an 11 or 10? The high end of 30 knots is not achievable with that weight & especially experience but that's not where he will spend his time fo...

Re: Quiver advice

What is your skill level? Given that you've just registered, I'm assuming that you are new to the sport? At 65kg, you will be fine for the lower end of the wind range that you ride in with that 12 and 9, which I think is a smart decision for a starter. You'll learn to extend your range up as you pro...
