Progression?

Just wondering what would be considered average or better than average progression someones first season. I know there are a lot of factors like athletic back round someone that has been wakeboarding should excel at learning. And not to forget amount of time someone is spending on the water. Hmm gue...

Re: Wainman info????

The only bad thing about this board is I won't be able to get one till next season most likely. I'm sure they will sell out and have a stacked order list when they do hit stores. I waited 2 months for my blunt :(

Re: Learning from an experienced friend + a video?

I live right outside of Houston and the guys at Xlkites are good people. Chris is all ways answers any questions I have when I see him out there and the Levee is a great place to learn. I do recommend how ever if you can take your lessons during the week cheaper and less crowded but that is based on...

Re: Wainman or RPM???

I say Wainman all the way. I'm 180 lbs and have the 9/12 and my wind range is 12 kts to 35 knts. It does not matter what your style is with the kites because of the tuning options. Not to mention they are not like other kites where one size kite was made and tested then just resized bigger or smalle...

Re: Boots on LF WLF?

Thanks for the replies. I understand about the edging problem I did try it with the LF heel straps and could not edge at all. It took all I had just to stay upwind. I'll try boots on it if I find a great a deal but think I will wait till next season and just buy a wakestyle board.

Here is the thread you are looking for. You should have 2 long pigtails that say single on them.

Help with size...

I want to buy a surf board but I have never surfed and have no ideal what size board to get. I weigh 180 pounds and I'm 5'5" I would be doing most of my surfing in Galveston Tx. which has small fast waves but need a more all around board and one that is good for strapless. Mostly looking at the Wain...

Re: Best impact vest

I use a Neil Pryde High Hook life vest as an impact vest. It has lots of padding and does not ride up.
