Re: Looking for boots 10-12 us

Take a look at the online wake shops. Buywake and EVO will have what you are looking for. Just buy last years model for decent savings.

Re: Height or weight more important for board size

Weight is what is important. 138 would be a little bit big for your weight. I'm thinking of getting an Atmos carbon for really powered up riding and boosting when I'm lit. I am 190 right now but normally in the 180 range (stupid covid pounds). I might drop to a 136 but probably just get a 138. I rid...

Re: Slingshot 2021 Sentry V1 Bar (any beta?)

I'm going to hold my full judgment till I get a chance to try them out. I however think I'll be stocking up on comp sticks as they go on sale.

Re: Slingshot 2021 Sentry V1 Bar (any beta?)

Yeah it’s to bad companies “innovate” just to say they have something new to try to keep up with the rat race. The old compstick bars were amazing and the most durable imo. Why did they have to go and change it 🤦🏼‍♂️ I'm thinking it is to be compliant with the ISO tag. Now they are the same as pret...

Re: OBX Flooding

It's a sand bar just like a lot of barrier islands along the coast of the US. Galveston here in Texas is having a hard time it's beaches washing away since the 70's. They built 5mile long jetties to protect the ship channel. The jetties prevent a lot of the sand from making it to Galveston so it is ...

Re: question for ex-Wainman kite riders

Try the new North Reach. I would not say they are the same as the old Rabbits. They have that direct feel nice light bar pressure and good all around kites. They don't fall out of the sky like old Wainmans like to do. They are not as grunty either but the low end on them is pretty damn good. I have ...

Re: Twintip repair - Shinn Bronq

Trim and sand down and away so your damaged layer is beveled. Re-fiberglass, then sand down flat with the original layers. Should be able to find a good how to vid on youtube if you look.

Re: Knee Braces in 2020

I would go with a CTI if you can get your doctor to prescribe it. I have not messed my knees up yet so I don't need one. When my knees are bothering me I do wear an ace bandage compression wrap with batons in it. I would recommend asking your doctor though what is right to use. He knows your knee be...

Re: Compressor

I use a compressor and I love it. I do not use one of those portable 2 stage ones for kites or sup boards. Those vs the modern 2 stage hand pumps I would choose a hand pump. If your not inflating large lightwind kites then the hand pump is fine. As far as compressors go I have onboard compressors in...
