Re: 2, 1 or no Leash? A case by case discussion?

Some beaches do have leash laws on the books. I am about to start trying the wing thing just waiting on our windy season. I will be dual leashing it. Need to modify up an old harness I guess.

Re: Kite foiling is dying sooo fast

So kiting is dying because winging lol. Nothing to do with people being locked down this year, not traveling or maybe worried about jumping into a money pit sport with uncertain financial stability. I would say the sudden lack of growth in kiting from new kooks has more to do with covid than jumping...

Re: Mast length for mixed kite/wing/surf

I ride a 75cm mast most of the time kiting in a shallowish spot. I have a 101cm for some deep water spots. I plan on just using the 75cm for winging/sup foiling as soon as I buy a board and big wing. Most of the guys around here are in 70-85cm range here for winging. I think the decision should be m...

Nice shots!
surfing with a delphin!
Yeah I have seen them a few times just out foiling. I'm all ways looking for them as I don't think it would end well hitting one with a foil at 20+ mph.

Thanks for the advice guys looks like I'll start out with the 1100.

Re: The Next Evolution of Woo - Woo Pro

Yeah they answered that question on their Facebook page. They are looking into using watches but right now they say the GPS is not good enough in the current line of watches. For now it has to be a phone. I have been enjoying having my phone for 2 reasons. 1st is music while riding, 2nd is I have b...

Re: Slingshot RPM - going upwind

Relaunch is pretty damn good. Had the wind drop off last week when I was foiling with the 7m. Kite fell out of the sky. I was able to relaunch it and keep working the kite enough to get me back to downwind to my launch spot. Wind was probably 10-15 mph at the time.

Re: Slingshot RPM - going upwind

[/quote] No I gotcha. I was just being silly. I am pretty good with my gear, but I think you may be right about it being worn down. I will probably get a new kite around Christmas time. Kind of tired of the kite in general. Mostly because it is a pain in the a$$$$$$ to relaunch, and I’m tired of it....

Moses foils

So I'm looking at starting to wing and not sure on which wing I should go with the 873 or 1100. I all ready have a Moses set up so want to save money and stick with them. My plan is to wing out and catch tanker waves to surf and then back to shore. The waves are pretty mellow but would like to carve...
