Re: Slingshot RPM - going upwind

If the kite is really showing its age then it could be just the kite itself and not the model. Fabric wears out and lets more air pass thru it making it far less efficient. All so your bridals could be stretched changing your angle of attack. Lines all so could be stretched as well. Ohhhhh, so you ...

Re: The Next Evolution of Woo - Woo Pro

fernmanus you have to use it with a cell phone for the extra data to record. If the jumps are not recorded using a phone it will not have the data so that is the only way to see it. Old jumps and others that do not use Pro will unfortunately not have it. I wish you could filter other Pro users when...

Re: North - MY21 Collection

Am I the only one that thinks the color on a bar don't matter at all? I never look at the bar and say "oh I'm pulling on the red side." I don't pay attention to the bar other than when I'm untwisting my lines and have to reach up to grab it again. If I rig up a bar backwards no biggy ( talking steer...

Re: Not wanted rotations on lofty jumps

My guess would be your looking slightly upwind and that is causing the rotation. You need to be looking downwind when you jump unless you want to rotate that is. You might never had noticed it when you were doing smaller jumps since you were not in the air long enough. This is my guess based on your...

Re: When to replace bar?

My oldest bar is 8yrs old. I have changed out depower ropes and some lines that have got snagged on rocks and recently a small cut from my foil. I regularly tune my bars and check my lines. Bars SS bars they are the best in my opinion. Foam lasts forever and the bar is durable. I just replace the pa...

Re: Kite Foil for Beginner

I agree with TomW. I would go with something that is easy to upgrade on. I started foiling back in March and I went with the Moses 633/483 combo but with a 101cm mast. I have a 75cm aluminum mast for our shallow spot. Got it due to covid shutting down my normal foiling spot. I went with the Moses si...

They usually debut the new models at Surf Expo which should be next month. Not sure how or if it is going to be due to the covid.

Re: The fight against smelly gear

Peter I dry my stuff while I sleep after kiting. Does not take very long. Plus there is no way I'm putting on a wet wetsuit when it's cold. Lol if that was the case I would buy another one before putting a wet one on. I hate the cold.
