Re: Who dont use safety leash?

There are valid reason to not use a safety leash.

Ben wilson recommends to not use a leash when going into heavy surf

Re: Kite Launch Anchor

We have a similiar situation here in Puerto Rico when we go kitesurfing  to the cays  because they are  full of mangroves with almost no launching area. We use the trees as  anchors, in my case I attach one end of my safety leash to the chicken loop and the other end around a strong branch clipped ...

Re: Surf googles for eye protection

Have you asked your doctor? Perhaps all you need is eye drops prior and post your session.

The truth is that wearing anything on your face will be a hassle.

Re: RPM 9 or 10M???

I would go for the 9m since you already have an 11m Fuel. That Fuel will cover the lighter days better than the 10m RPM will. The 9m will make for a great surf kite and will pickup on stronger days when the Fuel is too much of a brute. My baby is an 11m 2014 RPM which I fly in 25 mph+ (225 lbs/6'0"...

Re: Fuel 2015 bridle

anybody else flown it? me :D but only seven i`ll be short: without bridle it is about all the same Fuel 2014 with SLE you got more lowend, better sent jumps ability, lighter loop feeling - the loop is nice and tight but the famous FUEL yank(yenk) spread through all the radius of the loop, so its mu...

Re: RPM 9 or 10M???

Ok I own a 2014 RPM 10m which I will be glad to let you try. Just tell me what Island and I am on my way... It's getting cold up here. At your weight, a 10m would be the carribean one kite quiver... You could easily get going in 13knots and keep having fun abut past 25 given that you will move the ...

Re: RPM 9 or 10M???

IMO you can choose either one, if the power (as I understand) is like most depower wave kites. The range 15 to 20 knots is quite big, but for me also at 170 lbs I would definitely choose the 9m2. In 20 knots I am on a 7m2. Below 20 on a 9m2. Below 16 on a 10m2. Below 14 usually not waveriding. Pers...

RPM 9 or 10M???

I have a 2013 11M FUEL

I ride every weekend at a perfect flatwater spot,

sometimes I ride at a typical side on shore beach, with waves, so I want an RPM 9M

SHould I go for a 10M or a 9M?

winds are usually 15-20kts, I weigh 170lbs

What do you say?
