if you are looking for a lightwind kite the kahoona is great, but i hear it really drags you downwind....I hear the v3 is much improved in the upwind ability area though for the larger sizes. I sold my kahoona 13.5 because I hate walking up the beach.

I just want to know what are the big sizes for the method. I'm looking for something to go from 8-22 knots using a lightwind board and highwind board at 165lbs.

would a pull pull bar like the best bar work with these kites?

Yes, it is the center flagging line, but it looks like an extension of the line just more flexy if that makes sense.

Yea the best bar DOES have the bungie line that secures the lines (it's in the floats) The bungee shockchord is used when you use the QR and it lessens the shock on your body upon activating in conjunction with your safety leash. I saw it on Airush's bar and the Best Bar, but not on the Ocean Rodeo ...

this is cool, I really wish manufacturers were more honest about the line strength since only like 3 report what the line strength is. I think it's the opposite, the person going upwind (who has more options to change course) should give way to the person going downwind (the person filming) who has less options.
