Paracas & Mancora - quiver advice

Hi
I´m heading to Peru first week of December, Paracas and then Mancora. Would like to get an advise on my quiver: I´m planning to go w/ Flexi Ion4 - 7m and 12.5m w/ 20m+extension lines, riding TT, weight 75 Kg.

Do u reckon this to be an appropriate quiver for the local conditions?

Thanks
tiago

Re: Is there a brand that compares to Cabrinha?

Can´t comment on Cabrinha x-bow but i ride Flexi Ion4 that appear to share the same behaviour (hybrid with 6 structs lay-out). The 7 m is great and confortable in gusty winds, turns nice, easy to re-launch, nice up-wind ability, great bar pressure. Super satisfied. On the 12.5 m can´t comment so muc...

Re: Portugal

my 2 cents: the best bet is to hire a car w/ GPS as road signalization is not one of our best assets... If driving is not a possibility then i would do the following: get a taxi to a train station called "Cais do Sodré" (~10 Eur), get a train to Cascais (~4 Eur), get a taxi till "Hotel do Muxacho" (...

Re: Portugal

Hi! If you are heading to Lisbon then Guincho would be the right location, around 40 Km west from the city down-town. It is a wave-rider location and even if wind conditions are getting lower in September u will still use your 7 m / 9 m. Remenber seeing a beautifull video around here a couple weeks ...

Re: Spleene Door High Tec vs Fun Tec vs FlyDoor

thanks Ocean...good point about the straps. After Fred review i am more in favor of FlyDoor as it appears to be slightly more confortable. Still a lot of "question marks" about the lenght and wide - i´m still using my very first board at 130x38 for every conditions! i´m bit afraid that the fun facto...

Re: Spleene Door High Tec vs Fun Tec vs FlyDoor

hced: thanks for the heads-up on the Mako but will stick w/ the Doors for now... already hard to choose! hello Fred, thanks for the comment. From what u are saying FlyDoor appear to be slightly better for the given conditions within the same quality level. Any advise on the size 155x42,5 versus 163x...
