Sketched out what I think happens if A, B, C or Z line lengths are changed (one at a time)

Re: Help with removing glued valves from bladder

https://live.staticflickr.com/7556/27025906671_37c016316f.jpg yeah you can cut away the top layer that's welded and stick onto the lower layer after the valve is off, but if you have a brittle valve and need to restick with one of those big you stick valves, then you have to cut it all away, put do...

Re: Help with removing glued valves from bladder

If it's a triple seal with a wrinkly texture then part if it is heat sealed and you won't be able to get it off. glue should come off rather easily if you put hot water on it. You should be able to cut away part of the top section to get to the polyurethane which is where you can do the restick. Som...

Re: Fin Technology

when you are in boots you are locked in, so if you have really long fins it kind of sucks if you slightly mis-align your landing, you can get knocked down. In straps if you land hot and are a little bit off you just shift your feet inside the straps. It's the same doing wakestyle tricks, in boots yo...

Re: Explosive Decompression! - No puncture.

yeah but if a valve is loose it doesn't let all the air out in seconds, takes at least 1 or 2 minutes. If it all comes out in 30 seconds it's usually a plug coming loose. I still think it's really weird and might be something nobody has thought of yet. I would try to reproduce it.

Re: Explosive Decompression! - No puncture.

Never seen that happen in a simple turn. I've often had kites loose air in the middle of a turn, but only after a really hard crash, where you just slam the kite into the ground and either the inflate valve or a strut valve pops open, you relaunch and then the kite instantly deflates. But after gett...

Re: Q-power line

@foil nothing, I was trying to do a knot so I can attach a loop. What do you do do make a knot that you can attach a loop: the same 8 knot ? Yes. Make that same figure 8 loop. You'll have a small loop after the knot that you won't use that's the best way to maintain the strength of the lines. I usu...

Re: Offshore windshift ---> Lost Kite

Neverpack down and never deflate. Put the kite in a u position lay on top of it and you can find it very easy to swim up a wind try it sometime. Move the spreader hook to the side so you don't pole a hole in the kite

Re: Megaloop Judging

you get points both for distance and for height, so the hotter you can land and stick it the better. No points for soft landings after a bunch of safety loops on the way down. It's pretty dangerous landing hot in chop, so maybe they are just doing their best. These guys in the competition are probab...
