Re: sea anchor!

7-9 knots is way more than enough to reverse launch. make sure you are firmly seated on the hydrofoil. You want maximum resistance against the water so you can jellyfish the rear lines. You should be able to reverse launch a foil kite in as low as 2-5 knots as long as you are able to push hard again...

Osmo can't use reelsteady go, it's the single best way to stabilize your cam footage, if you care about that gopro 7 is the only option. check out reelsteady.

Re: sea anchor!

you can drag the kite behind you but it depends on the kite. I have some foils where you could drag it behind you all day others will just fill with water if you look at it. Sounds like your foil likes to fill with water, you gotta roll it up immediatly.

Re: Knot from hell

No matter what it's always better to remove the knot. Even if a few strands get damaged and you lose 10-30% of the line's strength that's still much much better than losing 50% of the line's strength from a knot. As said above, with nylon rope it's different but dyneema can't handle knots. if you ar...

Re: How to crash advice

on a hydrofoil it's not how you crash that matters it's spotting the board. If you can see the board it's actually pretty easy not go get a cut that needs stitches, you just move your head a little bit to keep it from hitting you hitting you really hard. Sometimes it's impossible to spot the board f...

Re: What to replace enduros with?

nobody rides the airrush around here so no experience with the union v4. I have flown a few eleveights, seemed like high quality kites but haven't demoed the fs yet only the free ride version the RS? Let us know what you eventually decide on.

Re: What to replace enduros with?

I didn't like the best TS when I tried it and never demoed it again. Didn't like how it looped, didn't like how it went upwind, didn't like it unhooked or how it boosted. They must have made changes to the kite since the last time I tried it (4 years ago now?) I stay away from Cabrinha kites because...

Re: What to replace enduros with?

The Enduro is excellent kite unhooked you can do mobes, slim chance, anything, it generates excellent slack, powers correctly through a megaloop, so my opinion is if you want something that generates even more pop and more slack your only option is a C kite. The best performing C kite on the market ...
