Re: Naish 2020 ATB 55 control bar stopper ball issue

It's just a design flaw of the chickenloop that doesn't allow for a thicker flagout line that doesn't slip through the small hole in the stopper. Ozone did it right more than 10 years ago with a nice big 8mm hole through the chickenloop, allowing for a 3mm thick flagout line. Never heard of problems...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Its a shame not to use Sensor 3+ bar as it look like one of the best design bars for ergonomics & functionality. indeed a shame they didn't went for a modern low-v single line flagout. One of the last brands to stick with a proprietary flagout system. Low or high V doesn't impact most kites that mu...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Hey did someone tried Core Sensor bar with Soul? Unlike FS bar it has highish Y rather then low V, however with line extension 2+4m front line splits somewhere in middle Love this core bar and would like to use it for its brilliant auto untwist function that in FS Infinity 4.0 sucks You could alway...

Re: Infexion Seatbelt Quick Release

My freeride setup from Infexion https://kiteforum.com/download/file.php?id=93980&mode=view Evan - just received my QR and micro leash. It’s a fantastic bit of design and build quality! I did forget to order the depower ring set. I have 5mm depower line. What ring set do you recommend? Also, does th...

Re: Tips on repair of multiple cells (Ozone R1v2)

I would use just spinnaker tape on both sides and stitch it just like a normal repair in any ripstop kite fabric. Use the original pattern to align both parts with painters tape first if you want to be precise.

Re: Switching from foil kite to high aspect LEI kite. Worth or not?

Did you test a big tube already? Can't imagine they have lighter bar pressure than a foil kite but I didn't flew big freeride kites for a long time. In small sizes most tubes have way more bar pressure and are more of a struggle in gusts. (comparing now a 8m plkb hook against a 7m soul and small rac...

Re: Hand Sewing Ripstop Nylon

Once the spinnaker tape is in place I like to "iron" it using a bottle filled with hot water to set the glue. Just roll it back and forth along the tape. Setting the glue with heat is one of the most important steps that gets skipped too often besides a good alcohol cleaning. You can also use a hea...

Re: Infexion Max bar / Seatbelt Quick Release

Just curious what most are doing with the Seatbelt QR to keep it far enough away from the spreader bar? Installing a longer depower cord and set up the bar with a bit more backstall so you can ride with the bar in your normal comfortable position but have the option for some extra power/stall when ...

Re: Flysurfer is going to beat fishnets? (Release of VMG2)

Thanks for the review! Can you self land the kite by backstalling? The VMG2 manual says you can't, because it can damage the kite. I asked flysurfer directly, and they confirmed you can't do it. However, a rider who has one said he did it without issue. I often need to self land, so would be a non-...

Just measured mine. Throw is 18in. To compare, my clickbar is 24in. It's a short throw.
45.7cm is quite short, 61cm is more like it indeed.

Sorry, still can't wrap my head around imperial measurement. always need a converion
