Re: Do Peak4 kites work with waveboards?

On other peak4 topic I stated that I 110kg plus gear tested peak4 5m with door twintip and I was able to ride to my surprise although losing ground a bit by bit. After peak test I took 15m Sonic2 and smaller tt to have a blast. Wind maybe 12-16kn range. So Peak did function with more draggy board th...

Re: I sold my flysurfer soul in favour of.

Interesting kite. It's so cheap. I wonder if it is really better than the soul? 'better' at what? Maybe "better at" teaching foil kite tuning. * Soul is just ride'n'enjoy kite and if not flying satisfactory anymore after 100h of flying then do simple mixer-resets and enjoy next 100h. And if not fly...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Hey peak riders. How does the upwind angle of the peak on hydrofoil compare to a lei on hydrofoil? Are you able to get good angles?any gps pics? Peter_Frank stated on other "peak4 stoked" -thread that Peak4 upwind angles were at least as good as his wave LEIs on HF and there is GPS pic. So it can b...

Re: Flysurfer Peak4 in 5 m2, truly stoked

I only have the 4m, and with just 9 months of experience foiling I can use it well around 20 knts but around and below 16 it's a struggle for me (Zeeko spitfire LW @73 kg). When I tested my old trusty ULW setup (Flydoor XL TT-board on single digit winds in knots) with first time on water with Peak4...

Re: Lightest kite for foiling

Here are some of the kite weights that I've recorded. Foil kites: 15m Ozone Chrono V3 UL 2.37kg 15m Flysurfer Soul = 6.1lbs (2.81kg) Just asking (maybe I've asked earlier, but I am not sure if I asked figures on your table) that are for example these results comparable? I mean FS states in web page...

Re: Lightest kite for foiling

Lightest kite for foiling, hands down Peak4 and for 10m LEI-size you can probably use 3-4m size, 3m is 620g and 4m is 700g and mass of *flying* kite does not increase with mass of air pumped with pressure inside plastic bladder. Empty weight is different from flying weight.

This inspires me to get my 6mt pulse 2 out of the attic and give it a go again...all I remember is that the kite was one of the easiest to relaunch .....almost has an autorelaunch
+1 please update me/us after the session that was it still nice or had time just glorified the memories..

Had a Viron 6m.. sold before I started foiling.. :-?
anyone tried Viron's for foiling?
I think Regis did.. I did not find it encouraging on this video as the kite is trainer designed for no pull.. I find Peak4 more suitable for foiling than Viron.

Re: I bought a Flysurfer Pulse2 6m...

Compared to today’s performance, I couldn’t say the same about the Speed 3s/4s. Today - there is nothing wrong with Speed 4 IMO. - I still use 10m Lotus for medium wind TT and HF riding, it is stable and goes in a puff, wide wind range (TT 12kn -> 40ish with my weight), light/small to pack to airpl...

Re: New to kite flying

I am sure someone on here knows the name of these kites that the school at flag beach uses Flysurfer Viron2 at least can be seen when googling flag beach kite school. And I think I saw Viron flying as video background of gmb13's instruction videos filmed at flag. Checked the video, definetly Viron ...
