Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

I've understood the implication of many of Marlboroughman's posts to be that there is no global warming, I don't understand what else the point of posting them was if not that. It should be a question of statistics not opi...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

So you don’t give a ̶f̶u̶ polar bear what the majority thinks. I assume the answer to my question is that you've personally l...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

Anyone notice what the deniers did there? They compare number of deaths and number of buildings burnt when property and people protection is far more sophisticated today than it was in the past. The key metric is area burnt, which is over 2 million hectares and summer has only just begun. Yes, 1973...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

You mean the glaciers? Glaciers move because of the weight at the top. More snow coming down means they become more top heavy, which forces the ice below to move. "As a glacier thins, due to the loss of mass it will slow down and crevassing will decrease." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glacial_moti...

Hey Longwhitecloud, Before you go thanking Saul for his collection of videos, consider the source. In the opening of the wiki on the Heartland institute: In the 1990s, the Heartland Institute worked with the tobacco company Philip Morris to attempt to discredit the health risks of secondhand smoke ...

Re: MOST SEXY KITE PICTURE

Admin - it's about time we lost the sexism and deleted this thread. Yeah I know 'sexy' could mean anything. But how do women feel about blokes parading women's arses around for their own entertainment. As a bloke opposed to sexism, I just find it emabarassing. Social Justice Warriors are trying to ...

Re: climate change /unpredictable weather/wind

Interesting. What is the number one piece of evidence that anyone could understand in layman's terms. Like a few sentences based on some evidence from 20 000 years.. ice cores? Its not a subject that can be proven or disproven that easily. I suggest you listen to the scientists who have done the wo...
