Do all kites invert equally?

I was wondering if all kites invert equally. I’m planning on getting some smaller kites to teach my daughter and was wondering if there’s a certain style/brand/whatever that gets inverted more or less. I learned on rallys and I inverted them regularly. Now as I got better, it never happened. ...unti...

Firewire evo vs Naish skater

Hi all, I’m looking for a great strapless board that has the following characteristics: FUN, lightweight, cranks upwind, early to plane for light winds, durable for jumps, strap inserts for travel options and user friendly for my wife as well. I can’t demo the firewire and am curious how it or other...

I'm a big fan of strapless. A little harder at first but after learning the basics, you can try just about anything you want without fear of ankle or knee injury.

What you do lose with strapless is the ability to control/redirect the foil as you’re falling. Beware the unmanned foil...

Re: Aruba January

Sorry. I’ve tried to not be a downer and ignore this post. Now I’m at a weak moment cuz I’m at work... I’ve kited at so many places around the world and I’d say Aruba was probably the worst. While super windy, the wind was described by a local as “devil’s wind”. The gusty nature made Hood River seem...

Re: Dwarfcraft 3’6” vs Groove Skate

Having not ridden a “pocket” board yet, the push to go increasingly smaller reminds me of the similar trend years ago when everyone pined for smaller and smaller twintips until the tide turned and it reversed course. For the forever intermediate foiler, what is the optimal “pocket” board length/widt...

Dwarfcraft 3'6" vs Groove Skate

Anyone out there that has ridden both and can compare the two? I’m an intermediate that rides on foil most of the time, working on tacks, 360s, 180s and jumps. I have a ss gw 633 setup arriving soon. SS is my local brand but curious how the Groove compares considering all the hype on this forum. I c...

Re: Moses 633 vs Slingshot H4 wing

My HG is just so locked in it’s hard to make quick turns- probably due to my inexperience in combo with the shape and weight of wing. Im just looking to advance my riding with new tricks/swell rides/lowend.

Moses 633 vs Slingshot H4 wing

Has anyone ridden both of these wings and able to compare with firsthand experience? I’m trying to figure out which way to go on my next foil. I currently have the Hoverglide which I’ve really enjoyed. Despite being heavier than all other foils, it is a smooth, stable ride when learning. It also app...

Re: Groove Skate

What about jumping? Are these boards built to take a pounding or are they built for light weight, strapless foiling and less robust. I'm not the best at feathering every landing!

Thanks again!

Re: Groove Skate

So it sounds like the straps are one size fits all. I ride in very different conditions requiring everything from 5mm booties to barefoot with big feet (12US/46EU). I usually ride with one front very loose strap but have plans to start jumping with 2 straps. Any chance some adjustable straps could f...
