Re: Naish Pivot 7/9 or 8/10

Thanks, do you also have some experience with the Lowend mit Directional? I have a 5,8 Mixer and not sure if a Pivot 14m would help with more Lowend or just add a 10m for jumping :-). I used to have a 14, but ended up never going unless I could go with my 11. I feel it has good low end. I do not kn...

Re: Is strapless overrated?

I'm always up for trying a replacement for the kitefish. You cannot possibly be talking about performance and speed etc and then mention you ride the kitefish. I had one. It's not a surfboard...not even close. Its much closer to a skimboard. I'm not slagging your board, but I am saying as a board i...

Re: Naish Pivot 7/9 or 8/10

Hi, I‘m going to add two more Pivots to my quiver. Currently I’m round about 200lbs. In lighter winds <20 mph I‘m using my Directional with a 12m Pivot. Above I‘m driving a Twintip und like to do Jumping and Looping. Therefore I‘m thinking if it would be better to buy 10/8 or 9/7 for Wind between 2...

Re: Is strapless overrated?

I've ridden strapless in a shit ton of conditions..up to triple overhead. My take is I bring straps when I want to jump, and when the waves gets above 2x overhead....or any time at OB. Because that beach just has too many waves in different directions and currents. Conditions should really dictate. ...

Re: Is strapless overrated?

:D :D haha that aeticle falls solidly into the who cares category. Ride what you want. Once thing about kiteboarding I like is to ride a variety of styles...I'll never be a pro at any of them, but I still love it. The only piece of information the author got right is that strapless does not fit ever...

Re: marc jacobs kota - pushed harder than anyone

in an interview with a judge it was not only 70% height, it was 70% height and extremity.. so marc should def be scored higher because it was surely 10/10 extreme.. same with jesse 70% Height “Go as hard and high as possible. The height in combination with extreme moves is priority, but we will als...

Re: new naish kite Triad

Be good to see... but 99% !... The Pivot was marketed as a "do it all", and is a a great kite, but it is bad at unhooked freestyle IMO. I don't unhook on a regular basis, so no problem for me if that is true. :-) It does everything else really well. I do think it has gotten a bit more aggressive in...

Re: marc jacobs kota - pushed harder than anyone

air doest mean height in english but we get that is the most important part based on 70 / 30 u compete and prepare to the rules of a comp. problem is there is no transparency to those rules to understand how they ar ecalculated.. and if you calculate based on %ages of increased height based on 70% ...

Re: Sam Light backstage at the KOTA

Yeah, i thought the same ... I guess it's obvious to them who's the best. It is kind of weird. I think they are rooting for Jessie, but they also say the Kevin has the height. Sam is also saying if he was a betting man he'd put his money on Kevin. I guess no doubt that they knew who was going to be...
