Re: Pivot or Bandit?

I was told by many certified kite repair guys that it is a bugger to repair the bladder many charge a lot to do it. I never needed a repair, but I was going overseas for an extended time and if I can't do it it would be hard to find someone to do it soo... we sold the pivots. Yeah this is bullshit....

Re: Kiting Naz

Its hard to criticize someone going out in that size. I have been out in what I consider big waves, but nothing nothing nothing like that. I am hesitant putting a number on it, but that wave felt literally unreal it was so big...and it was still nothing like that size Nazare is. Check out what Jesse...

Re: Pivot or Bandit?

I can't decide between these two kites. Both check all the boxes for me and seem to get nothing but high praise from users and test results. I don't unhook, ride mostly TT, love to boost(nothing impressive) , I do ride some waves on directional and plan on spending more time in the surf this season...

Re: Naish pivot with ocean rodeo bar

Yeah that's what I thought but the pilot bar and the shift stick appear to have a different split point, so confused me a bit. The shift bar being a fair bit further than the depower lines would have been. Though if both bars work for ocean rodeo kites with no issue I would have thought they would ...

Re: Naish pivot with ocean rodeo bar

Yeah like the other I don't see a problem. Just make sure all lines are same length. :-)

Re: Hawaii in April/May

Hello fellow windhunters, I'm fortunate enough to finally have the opportunity to visit the holy land of kitesurf/surf, Hawaii. It means so much to me as a ocean lover, human and scientist that is hard to describe... and I am glad that this opportunity showed up after i've been kitesurfing for a co...

Re: Hawaii in April/May

another surfing tip...don't go to Pipeline. Or Sunset for that matter...there are sooooo many great waves, there is no need to try to compete for attention at those waves.

Re: First loops today :)

Three down loops with the carving turns and 2 water starts from loops nailed today. I want to build up to heliloops to achieve better landings from jumps. I am pretty much sending the kite straight down the power zone on landing to get going again at the moment. Throwing loops intentionally definit...

Re: 3 kites starter pack

Your suggestions sound about right for a TT at your weight 17m, 12m, 9. However, typically people use a kite size about 2 m smaller for riding a directional. This still means a 11m & 8m would make sense, but you'd be switching to the smaller kite sooner & you might end up needing a smaller kite if ...

Re: Learning Strapless, what to do first, Jibe, Tack etc?

Easy. Jibe is is much more critical to riding well on a surfboard (assuming the ultimate goal are waves)...and it is way easier to learn.
