Re: Epic kites and after-sales service

Yeah, I got to give it to them for Customer Service. Had a two year old bar break in a way it shouldn't have. Contacted Dimitri and he said they had seen that on a few other bars. He sent the parts right out and made it right. Respect.

Re: Contra 2014 Reviews

Has anyone had a chance to fly the 15m and 17m? Just curious how they compare speed wise and bottom end. Only about 2 knot difference on the web site

We had a 2 week trip to Cape Hatteras and just got back. Great winds during the trip. Everything from 6m up to 17m Contra and Fat Lady riding.

Bob - Nice review. I've flown the Fat Lady a couple of times. Can you compare the Contra to the Fat Lady?

Re: Slingshot turbine vs ozone edge 17,ozone zephir2013

Most of the new light wind specific kites are all pretty good now. So I think it comes down to you and what kind of kite you are looking for, what your local conditions are, and what kind of board you ride. I ride a twin tip in ocean chop, with swell, current, and kelp beds. It's hard to make the hi...

Re: Edge 17/19 vs Dyno 2011 18 ? Anyone can compare?

If my 10m Edge hasn't got enough air in it, the kite folds when jumping and pushing really hard. Pump that suckka up super hard and you should be fine. I have the 15 as well, I haven;t flown it yet as we have had mental winds, but tomorrow, saturday and Sunday we have 12-18knots so I will find out!...

Re: What do Race Kites suck at?

thing is ive always believed from info from others that the dyno being a race kite is built light so hasnt got the usual protection around the LE for self launch and self landing. as i self launch and self land 99% of the time can i assume that maybe i should indeed avoid the dyno's :thumb: I worie...

Re: Surf pads

Also another thing to consider is will it be weird going from the height of the pads back to low on the deck? I wonder if it'll get in the way, which is another reason I'm leaning towards the pads. I know is obviously all personal preference, just trying to get others opinion and take on this. Than...
