So how long's this thing been called a 'Hinterberger'? Never heard of it. Not surprising because it's lame. A laid out back roll is still a laid out back roll. An S-bend is, to be fair, a laid out front roll but it's far gnarlier. Anyone who's ever tried to learn one behind a boat will agree. f*** m...

viento, I have been a past owner of the M80. I like the kite as it is great for unhooked stuff. But the CLQR is the worst I have ever seen for reassembly. Period. Even the LF distributor (who I won't name to protect the innocent) admits it's a shocker. He also couldn't give me a user manual either b...

Anyone fitted LF straps to a Nobile board?

Did they feel better than the Nobile ones? Do they fit? I am thinking about getting me a Shinn but like riding with heelstraps.

The usual questions spring to mind:- Your weight, kite and wind conditions. I had a WLF (sold it to make a quick buck which I now regret). Holding ground on both a North Rhino 4 or an LF M80-20 in 9.5 knots (I weigh 80 kg). 10 knots was good for upwind progress. There are better light wind boards ou...

Prestigious...according to the dictionary : 'exerting influence by reason of high status' and 'having an illustrious reputation, respected'. There is no one kite brand that qualifies above others although there are a few that are first among equals. If Don Montague, Ken Winner, Eric Hertsens, Michae...

Man...I can feel the artillery shells landing around me...! Brandon...what you have said is the sort of thing that lends much more credibility to the article...i.e. comparison to other brands. Your discerning kiteboarder is going to want to know more about how each kite compares vis-a-vis low end, h...

f*** off. Real are pimps for LF plain and simple. All the evidence I have seen with my own eyes on the beach says: 1. The Havoc 14 is a nice kite to fly with light bar pressure. 2. The RRD hypertype 12 and 15 have more power and not much heavier bar pressure. They are better in lighter winds IMO alt...
