Re: Upgrade, big Rebel to ?

It seems that there is a balance to be found between a larger kite with a heavier structure versus a slightly smaller size which compensates for its lack of surface area by lessened mass. The latest trend is towards the latter I suspect ..... The proportion kite area/kite's mass is one of the facto...

Re: Cabrinha Chopstick - Which size?

Thanks, ordered a 144 with sync from Kingofwatersport. Please update with what you think of it! What is your weight? My weight is 75kg, but I kind of prefer bigger boards because of their low-end. I just got my Chopstick 154, did not have a chance to try it on water yet - no wind these days. It see...

Re: Upgrade, big Rebel to ?

The Zephyr is very popular here but am sure my g/f will be intimidated by that many m2 I am using Zephyr as my light wind kite and I really like it, it also depowers very well. When wind gets really light, Zephyr is kind of slow-turning, but in those conditions pretty much any kite is slow. The siz...

Re: Cabrinha Chopstick - Which size?

Now all chopstick are out of stock in Sweden  Anyone know a good store in Europe that has them in stock? I ordered one of the last from lonasport - they were out of the size I wanted first (149) so I went for 154. It looks like chopsticks are available in http://www.powerkiteshop.com/cabrinha_...

Re: Cabrinha Chopstick - Which size?

I am also thinking about getting chopstick, most probably 149x44cm since in my area winds tend to be light. My weight is 75kg.

Re: You are zapped on board an alien ship…..

>You are zapped on board Is it a directional board or a twintip? But honestly, when I was learning the most helpful were videos from Mikhail Soloveikin ( as in here http://www.kites.ru/%D1%83%D1%87%D0%B5%D0%B1%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA/ ); he explains in a minute what takes Progression an hour to explain. I...

Re: Kite advice for new quiver please

I am quite happy with a two-kite quiver that covers most of the wind range I have in my area: 10m ozone catalyst and 17m ozone zephyr. Thats a big 7m gap in sizes. What are your normal conditions, ability and style, and do you have 2 boards to compensate?? Thanks for your input also. It sounds like...
