Re: Naish Skater 2012

Peppers, Based off of some recommendations on this forum, I went with the 5'4 Skater. I weigh 170lbs and ride crappy small waves most of the time. Only been out 2 times, but can't say enough about how much fun this board is. I've been kiting for a long time, and mainly ride surfboards with straps. ...

Re: Naish Skater 2012

Hi,
Which size skater is more suitable for 165 lbs person for small mushy waves? 5,4 or 5,9?
Incline towards 5,4 but appreciate your opinion.

Re: Struggling to jibe, any tips to not fall into despair?

I was struggling with it until I found that it is a lot easier to switch fee before jibe (at least for me). I go slightly downwind and start moving the kite to 12. At same time i switch feet. After the switch I continue moving the kite to the new direction. After reading what I just wrote, it looks ...

Re: Naish 2012 quiver

Must be a bad one then. Naish manual states Bolt 9 and Park 7 wind range is 16-30 kts : http://www.naishkites.com/2012/download ... Manual.pdf

Re: Naish 2012 quiver

Thanks a lot. The wind is gusty most of the time in my area, therefore Bolt might be good addition. According to Naish manual the wind range of Bolt 9 and Park 7 is almost identical. I really love my Park 7 but want something to fill the gap between 12 & 7 Park. I know the wind range chart is just a...

Re: Naish 2012 quiver

Hi, I am riding Park 11m and 7m (2012) but would like to get a bit more low end. Thought of adding one Bolt to the quiver. I will get rid of 11 Park and replace it with 12 Park. Then I need something in between 12 and 7 Park. The wind range of Park and Bolt is quite different to size. Should I get 1...

Hi, does anyone have any experience with Best short stick wave board?http://www.bestkiteboarding.com/surfboards
I have been offered one used board (2010). Will be riding it in chop or small waves most of the time. Do not have any experience with directionals. I weight 73 kg (160 lbs).
