Mast to Fuse Connection Repair

Can anyone here suggest how to repair this crack at the bottom of the Mast? I filled it with Marine epoxy and left a thin coat twice and it cracked away after a few sessions each time It seems there's some water inside the crack. I use this set up for boosting with 548 and 600 wing so it gets a good...

Wichard Snap Shackle 2673 Lifespan

I've been using my 2673 for 6 years now and it continues to work well. I ride powered up and boost a lot The Snap shackle hook seems to have more play than it used to, and I'm wondering if It's time to replace? Has anyone here experienced a Wichard Snap Shackle failure? Or do these things just last ...

Re: Single Skin Boosting Kite?

I have no idea, but suspect that the open underside with all its internal fabric support for the bridle is pretty drag enducing. This is not a kite that flies very far forward in the window. Not a kite I would really have any interest in if I wasn't using it with a hydrofoil. BUT with a hydrofoil, ...

Single Skin Boosting Kite?

After switching back and forth from Peak's to Sonic's for boosting sessions, I Can't help but loathe many qualities of my Sonic 2 Kite. Power per Sq ft, Packing Time/Packing Size, Drift etc Is it possible to make a functioning high aspect single skin that boosts similarly high and floats similar to ...

Re: Packing foilkite without bar?

I tried both methods listed above (ikea Clips and T system) and got frustrated with the additional time required to pack/ unpack. Especially in winter with gloves! I convinced myself that having a bar for each kite isn't a terrible investment since the lines will reduce wear from attaching/ detachin...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

My latest attempt at a backroll on the 4m Peak 4. Got more than I bargained for on this one when the kite looped!

Re: Help re-tuning a Sonic 2, am I on the correct path? Bridle/mixer

I had the same exact issue with my 13m Sonic 2. Mixer was slightly off but did not help to adjust. I was on a Kite Vacation and someone on the beach recommended adjusting the PMA's- that solved the problem and I don't notice a negative affect. My 11m had the same issue . Adjusting PMA's helped here ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Darippah, How long does it take to setup the kite and hot launch again. Can you describe how to do it? It´s a very important tool to have. I would say the process took about 10-15 minutes total. 1) Hold both fly lines at the center of the bar, Wind up both fly lines once around bar before wrapping ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Today’s I was Riding my 4m p4 in low to mid 20’s on a race foil. Failed attempt at a back roll landed my foil in my lines. Kite crashed and no chance at relaunch. Rolled up my lines in deep water sitting on my board, let the water out of the kite and set up for a hot launch. There was lots of wind ...
