Another good Peak4 11 session today.
Any estimate on the wind range you are able to handle on the 11m? I'd be a bit worried about topping out.

Re: Best pumping foil?

Rider is towed to 10knots and released. This requirement will skew the results, there is no need to go that fast. I would bet the current record for distance for "normal" foils (not aquaskipper etc) would be the biplane wing that Horue made for this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS9pQStSDtw

Re: What is the warmest female wetsuit

I get cold easy and I love my NP Surf Recon 6/5/4, the female equivalent of it would be the Serene 6/5/4: http://www.npsurf.com/collections/serene/products/serene-armor-skin-fz-fullsuit-6-5-4-hooded They aren't cheap though. See the Recon in action in -3 degrees here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Dont buy bigger than 5
Have you tried the 8m on the water tomtom?

The 5m is amazing at 10 knots but I'd like something for 8-9 knots too.

Re: The Duotone wing

Yes. And if you're relying only on the kite for all power, you're good. You can avoid slack lines. But if you're hooking into a swell that speeds you up and your apparent wind goes down to 5 knots, your lines go slack and your kite crashes. To avoid slack lines you have to head up, which is fine, b...

Re: Liquid force SOLO windrange

I have a full quiver of V1 and V2's.

With my old LF Rocket Foil I would ride:
- 17m 6-10 knots (This was a BRM Cloud C2 though)
- 12m 8-15 knots
- 9m 12-20 knots

Now that I have a NP Glide L:
- 9m 8-15 knots

I think the 12m is too much kite for my large wing at any wind.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

I've only had 1 relaunch so far and it was in 10 knots but I think the key is getting the kite lying completely on it's back so that the curved battens on the LE catch wind and then it just hot launches

Re: Efoil now shipping....anyone tossing their kite?

They tested out the Lift eFoils on this vlog the other day:

The girl riding it with her dog on board 9:26 is pretty impressive. I don't think she has any foil experience at all.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

What single or zero strut kites/size would you equate your 5m peak to? Somewhere between my 6.5m Solo and my 9m Solo. Probably closer to the 6.5m. The thing about the Peak is it loops quite a bit faster than my 6.5m so that allows it to generate the power needed to get up out of the water but then ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

I took my Flysurfer Peak4 5m out yesterday with my NP Surf Glide Large wing in 9-10 knots. I didn't think it would have the juice but it worked out. The Peak4 is simply amazing in light wind, it hang in the sky when all other kites would be in the water. What I enjoy about foiling is caring waves do...
