Re: Best 4 min kite entertainment in 2014?

I love Dimitri's videos they are always worth watching but damn, get a GoPro Hero3+ Black already please. I think we should all chip in and buy him one so we don't have to watch cheesy 10 FPS slow mo anymore.

Keep the vids coming Dimitri.

Re: Best Kite for my friend who is a beginner ? Naish Ride ?

what u dislike about the ride ? I've only tried the 7m Ride so bigger sizes might be better. I find that it's too park and ride, it generates very little power when actively flying the kite which means it has a smaller usable wind range (this is safer for beginners though). I've also had trouble re...

I'm not a big fan of the Ride, I would opt for a Park if you are stuck on Naish.

Re: Question about the flysurfer 6m viron

One thing the Viron 6m DLX wont do is loft you (or anyone for that matter). The thing is about as park and ride as you can get, signing the kite produces almost no additional pull and there is zero pull on the upward stroke. For a competent adult on the water though it's a terrible kite to ride with...

Re: My new video

Great video!

I really love to see people include the kite in the shot as well as the rider and you got it in almost every shot.

Re: FireWire vanguard ?

Looks like Naish has a Vanguard copy coming out too now, you can see it in the video for their new kite the Pivot.

So that's:
- slingshot
- LF
- Naish

any others?

Re: Quick Connect Contest Winner Announced!

I've been using my Quick Connect for 3-4 sessions now and it has replaced my Time Manager ( http://kitelauncher.com/about/time-manager/ ) as my line tool. Pros: - makes running your lines quite easy - small enough to keep in my harness' pocket so I have it right when I need to roll up Cons: - I worr...

Re: Kid-sized Kiteboards?

Another more versatile option would be to get the smallest Shinn ToyBoy. I'm sure kids will have trouble with the pads though, but you can't get the grom kit anymore anyways). Of course you have to be okay with your son riding a board covered in flowers too. But for $365 you get a great deal: http:/...

Re: Shinn boards?

I'm 72 kg and I ride a 133x42 gintronic and I like it a lot. I think the 44 might be too much in big winds though.
